Hi, I’m Gretchan!

And this whole delicious mess? That’s me — flour-dusted, coffee-fueled, and running on buttercream and pure willpower.

2nd Street Bakery started with a craving for something nostalgic and scratch-made, and quickly became a full-blown love affair with feeding people the good stuff. I’m a one-woman show based in San Dimas CA, baking sourdough, cookies, bars, cakes, and caramel — all made using my Grandma Franny’s vintage stand mixer. (Yes, really. That baby’s still going strong.)

Everything is made from scratch, in small batches, with big heart — just like Franny would’ve done, if she also had to juggle baking, label printing, and chasing a deadline.

What started as a porch pick-up project has turned into a local favorite, and I’m beyond grateful for the support of this sweet-toothed community. From everyday treats to special occasion stunners, I’m here to make your day a little bit sweeter.
